At Agritechnica 2011 Claydon launched its product range to the European market, with a buge amount of interest and alot of hard work, Claydon have grown their exports market to circa 50% of the companies turnover and Claydon are now selling machines in 26 countries worldwide.
This respected, ambitious and forward thinking company is undergoing a period of rapid strategic expansion building on the phenomenal growth in market share of recent years. Now that the company have a foundation of machines across Europe they are looking for someone to help develop on this success, introduce new sales partners and importors and ultimately increase sales volume.
An opportunity to join such a rapidly expanding UK agricultural engineering business in such an important role is unlikely to be matched for some time. A large and profitable territory of several countries is to be allocated to tthe successful applicant who ideally possess solid arable industry knowledge and proven success in machinery sales and account management either in the UK or Europe. Enthusiasm to deliver economic benefits to farmers, the passion to do the very best for your customers plus the willingness to “go the extra mile” will be essential.
If successful you will be given the responsibility for developing sales through the new dealership by providing sales support on farm and at branch level to new and existing farm customers. You will be proactive in offering a high level of motivation and customer service to each dealership and farmer customer including the provision of demonstrations and training, attendance at shows and promotional activities.
Reporting to Claydon Exports Manager, this is a home based role with alot of time spend in Europe (circa 50%). All locations will be considered but candidate will ideally be based in East Anglia so that they can easily commute into Claydon HQ when required.
